KUWAIT, Jan 17 (KUNA) -- Deputy Chairman of Al-Kharafi Group, Marzouq Al-Kharafi, called Saturday for Arab governments to create a legal umbrella under which Arabs could raise their investments through participating with governments in developmental projects.
Speaking to KUNA on the sidelines of the Arab Economic Summit's "Private Sector and Civil Society Forum," he said the Arab world awaited customs unification in order to boost inter-Arab trade with the help of the private sector.
He said that given the chance, the private sector would be able to assist governments in executing such projects as railway networks and transportation services which were considered the link to commercial activation. (end) kt KUNA 171624 Jan 09NNNN
