KUWAIT, Jan 17 (KUNA) -- The Arab Economic Summit sets the path for Arab economic and social development and its outcomes will reflect positively on the lives of Arab citizens, said Kuwait's Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education Nouriya Al-Subeeh on Saturday.
Speaking to KUNA on the sidelines of the "Private Sector and Civil Society Forum," held on the sidelines of the summit, she called for placing mechanisms for implementing decisions of this summit.
She also called on Arab states to be more insistent in their march toward boosting joint Arab action, adding that this summit would place the road map for a prosperous economy and sustainable social development.
Al-Subeeh expressed content with the fact that education would feature strongly on the summit's agenda, describing it as the basis for political, social and economic success.
She underscored the political will for guaranteeing the success of this summit, so that it may strengthen the partnership between the public sector on one side, and the private sector and civil societies on the other. (end) kt KUNA 171547 Jan 09NNNN
