(With photos) TUNIS, Jan 16 (KUNA) -- The Tunisian Minister of Development and International Cooperation Mohamed Nouri Jouini said on Thursday that the Arab Economic, Development and Social Summit held in Kuwait supports an Arab strategy of development based on integration and unity towards achieving the aspirations of the Arab region.
Speaking to KUNA, he said that the intention to establish Arab economic integration requires the support of inter-Arab trade and allowing the free exchange of goods and services between Arab countries.
The flow of investments in the field of transport, energy, the environment and scientific research, should also be encouraged through joint financial projects between Arab countries.
He regarded the flaw in Arab financial systems a result of the weakness of combined economic integration that needs concrete decisions at the Kuwait Summit.
Tunisia is carrying out steps he said, to increase and ease international commercial exchange through the implementation of a number of agreements predominantly the Build Operate Transfer (B.O.T.) agreement and a number of reforms aimed at opening up investments on its lands.
