KUWAIT, Jan 15 (KUNA) -- Around 442 proposals will be featured in the upcoming Arab economic and social development summit to be held here January 19-20, said a statement on Thursday.
The Arab League Secretariat revealed that the proposals would focus on developments in the energy, commercial, investment, transportation, funding, food security, employment, environment, education, and other sectors in the Arab world.
Kuwaiti proposals focused on bolstering the Arab health sector and means to develop medical services, said the statement, adding that Egypt came in first in terms of submitting proposals followed by Sudan, Jordan, and Syria. (end) amf.abd.gta KUNA 152004 Jan 09NNNN
