Arab eco summit a chance to market investment opportunities in Kuwait -- KFIB

KUWAIT, Jan 15 (KUNA) -- The Arab Economic Summit is an excellent chance to market investment opportunities in Kuwait, said Marketing Officer at Kuwait Foreign Investment Bureau (KFIB) Haya Al-Bassam on Thursday.
Speaking to KUNA on the sidelines of the preparatory meetings for the summit, she said KFIB would be presenting a paper at the Economic and Social Forum that would be held on the sidelines of the summit on Saturday and Sunday.
The paper, she said, would include a complete presentation of all requirements of Arab and foreign investors such that they may be able to make a decision over investing in Kuwait.
She noted that there were 12 sectors in Kuwait that offered a variety of investment opportunities, namely industry, technology, health care, pharmaceuticals, transportation, hotels, media, culture, marketing, banking, investment, currency exchange, insurance, real estate, warehousing, and services.
Al-Bassam said KFIB, through its booth at the forum's exhibition, would be introducing the public to investment opportunities in Kuwait and answering questions pertaining to legal, administrative and technical issues of relevance.
KFIB is the body that oversees affairs of foreign investments in Kuwait and is affiliated to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. (end) asa.ema KUNA 151202 Jan 09NNNN
