Kuwait''s Arab summit to feature program to face global financial crisis

KUWAIT, Jan 14 (KUNA) -- The Arab economic and social development summit, to be held here January 19-20, will feature an Arab proposed program to deal with the global financial crisis, said an official here Wednesday.
Advisor to the summit's general coordinator Ali Abdulaziz Al-Suleiman said in his paper to the joint meeting for Arab Finance Minister and Governors of Central Banks that the crisis, which resulted from real estate mortgage and unpaid loans, had effected the Arab world.
There must be real steps to increase investments and production of goods, stated Al-Suleiman who indicated boosting the auditory duties of government and society was an important part in integration plans in the Arab world.
