Tight summit security despite extremely cold weather conditions in Kuwait

KUWAIT, Jan 14 (KUNA) -- Cold weather in Kuwait coinciding with the Arab Economic Summit, has not abstained the National Guards and Police from fulfilling their duties in protecting delegations participating in the event.
Several Summit visitors praised, during interviews with Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the high standards of security personnel, and their commitment to protecting visiting delegations despite "extremely" cold weather conditions.
Delegations stressed that they did not expect such cold conditions, and therefore their wardrobes are not suitable to face such low temperatures.
