By Ali Al-Nasser BEIRUT, Jan 14 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Arab economic and social development summit, to be held January 19-20, will be an event of paramount importance for Arab integration, said a number of Lebanese economists here Wednesday.
Chief Editor at the Lebanese business and economics magazine Hassan Muqled told KUNA that Kuwait did well in calling for such a summit which could be described as the most important Arab maneuver towards development.
Muqled also called for increasing inter-Arab trade relations, saying that the Kuwaiti event would provide a platform for such cooperation.
Meanwhile, economic expert Sami Nader hoped that the summit would address key issues in developing the economy in the Arab world, adding that Arabs are provided with such chance in the upcoming event in Kuwait. (end) an.gta KUNA 141552 Jan 09NNNN
