(With photos) KUWAIT, Jan 13 (KUNA) -- Minister of economy and finance of Djibouti Ali Farah said here Tuesday the Arab economic and social summit was very important because it coincide with the Israeli onslaught against the Palestinians in Gaza Strip.
Farah, speaking to KUNA after arrival here for preparatory meetings ahead of the summit, said Arab countries were looking forward for fruitful economic results out of the January 19-20 summit.
He thanked Kuwait for hosting this "historic" summit which would be held amidst the global financial meltdown.
The summiteers will discuss ways of pushing the economic development in the Arab countries, he said.
