(With photos) KHARTOUM, Jan 13 (KUNA) -- The urgent Arab program for food security will be featured in the upcoming Arab economic and social development summit to be held in Kuwait in January 19-20, said the Arab Organization for Agriculture Development (AOAD) on Tuesday.
AOAD Director General Dr. Salem Al-Lozi told the press that the program would aim at increasing production of some necessary food products to protect the Arab world from any future food crises.
He revealed that AOAD called on the Arab League Secretariat to feature the program in Kuwait's summit which one of its main themes would focus on developing food securities in the Arab region.
Al-Lozi hoped that the program would be ratified during the paramount Arab event to be held in Kuwait. (end) hha.gta KUNA 131559 Jan 09NNNN
