Eco summit an opportunity to establish Iraq-Kuwait partnership -- official

BAGHDAD, Jan 10 (KUNA) -- Iraqi President Jalal Talabani will present during the Arab Economic Summit a proposal for establishing an Iraqi-Kuwaiti partnership, reported the state-run "Al-Sabah" newspaper on Saturday.
The newspaper quoted the Presidency Court Chief Dr. Nasser Al-Ani as saying, "President Talabani will be participating in the economic summit in Kuwait, and will present a paper." He said Talabani's visit to Kuwait would also be an opportunity to propose Kuwaiti-Iraqi economic partnership, especially in investment and joint ventures.
Meanwhile, the newspaper quoted Kuwaiti Ambassador to Baghdad Ali Al-Momen as saying that Iraq's participation in the summit was of importance to Kuwait, as it would further boost relations. (end) ahh.ema KUNA 101200 Jan 09NNNN
