KABUL, Dec 28 (KUNA) -- Afghanistan condemned the Israeli missile attack in
the Gaza Strip and asked for a halt to such attacks.
In a brief comment on a private television channel on Sunday, Afghanistan's
Foreign Ministry's spokesman Sultan Ahmad Bahin said they condemned the attack
and asked for restraints.
Reports suggest at least 225 people were killed as Israel pounded Hamas
targets in Gaza on Saturday.
Head of the Afghanistan Human Rights Organisation Lal Gul also condemned
the Israeli attack in Gaza.
He told media in Kabul that the Israeli attack was a naked aggression and
such attacks must not be repeated. (end)
