Senior Kuwaiti official meets Arab League delegation for summit preparations

(with photos) KUWAIT, Dec 16 (KUNA) -- A senior official tasked with preparing for the upcoming Arab economic summit held a meeting here on Tuesday with a visiting delegation of the Arab League for coordination regarding the top-level meeting due on January 19.
Sheikh Dr. Salem Al-Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Advisor at the Diwan of HH the Prime Minister and the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Committee tasked with preparing for the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit, told KUNA after the meeting that he assured the league delegation about Kuwait's keenness on taking necessary measures to ensure success of the summit.
He indicated that the talks dealt with the last revision of the preparation plans with regard of administrative, technical, security, media, protocol and organizational aspects.
