Arab Specialized Unions eager for upcoming Kuwaiti economic summit

CAIRO, Sept 18 (KUNA) -- The Arab Unions affiliated with the Arab Economic Council said Thursday that they were looking forward during the upcoming Economic Summit in Kuwait next January to new and viable resolutions to encourage investment opportunities in the Arab private sector and speed up economic reforms in Arab countries.
The Unions called in a report issued to the council all the Arab countries, institutes, Arab funds, development and financial entities to ease restrictions and increase benefits to members of the Unions in various fields.
The report stressed importance of Arabs reaching agreements to liberate commerce services and eliminate all obstacles which confront the movement of services among Arab countries, which would boost steps and procedures to join the global free trade agreement.
The report also called all the Arab countries, institutes, funds, development and financial institutes to approve the unions' institution as field experts' advisors houses in the production and services sectors and support of such unions.
The report also emphasized the need to exert efforts to support the union which contributes to the establishment of Arab joint market which will form the core center all of Arab markets.(end) az.mb KUNA 190028 Sep 08NNNN
