CAIRO, Aug 26 (KUNA) -- The Secretariat of the Arab League hailed on Tuesday the preparations being made by Kuwait to host the Arab Economic Social and Development Summit.
Kuwait has made all necessary arrangements to ensure the success of the summit, due on January 19, 2009, the Arab League Assistant Secretary General for Financial and Administrative affairs Samir Saiful-Yazal who has visited Kuwait early this week told reporters here.
Saiful-Yazal said the Kuwaiti officials briefed him and a senior delegation from the league on the ongoing preparations. He, in turn, tabled a detailed report on the results of his visit to the league's Secretary General Amr Moussa. Moussa instructed tapping all resources of the league to fulfill the desired targets of the coming summit, Saiful-Yazal added. (end) mfm.az.gb.
