KUWAIT, June 17 (KUNA) -- Foreign Ministry announced Tuesday that it had
been agreed upon to establish direct diplomatic relations between Kuwait and
Principality of Liechtenstein on the basis of a "non-resident embassy."
The ministry said in a statement yesterday that signing the protocol of
establishing diplomatic relations between Kuwait and the Principality of
Liechtenstein took place in the Swiss city of Bern, Kuwait's Ambassador to the
Swiss Confederation Dr. Suhail Shuhaiber signed the on behalf of the
Government of the State of Kuwait.
The statement added that the Principality of Liechtenstein Ambassador
accredited to the Swiss Confederation was one who signed the agreement on
behalf of the Government of the Principality. (end)
