PARIS, July 3 (KUNA) -- France on Tuesday firmly condemned the bomb attack
Monday in Yemen which killed seven Spanish tourists and two local guides.
A statement from the French Foreign Ministry noted that after the bomb
attempts in London and the explosion in Glasgow airport, and in view of this
latest violence, France wants to "reaffirm its determination to work with all
European States to reinforce even more the fight against terrorism."
In addition, France "supports the efforts of the Yemeni government in
favour of the fight against terrorism and calls on all French nationals
present in Yemen to show the greatest vigilance."
The Foreign Ministry pointed out that the zone where the Mondays attack
took place in the centre of the country has been deemed off-limits for French
nationals who have been advised not to go there. (end)
