Khatami arrives in Egypt, meets Mubarak tomorrow
CAIRO, March 26 (KUNA) -- In the first visit of its kind to Egypt by a
senior Iranian official, former Iranian President Mohammad Khatami arrived
here on Monday to take part in the world Islamic conference and is expected to
meet President Hosni Mubarak tomorrow.
Speaking to reporters, Khatami expressed pleasure to visit Egypt for the
first time.
He is expected to deliver a speech before the conference and another before
the Alexandria Library.
Khatami is also expected to tour a number of ancient mosques in Egypt.(end)
