Ex-Egyptian interior minister passes away
CAIRO, Sept 18 (KUNA) -- Former Egyptian interior minister Major-General
Hassan Abu Basha passed away at the age of 83, it was announced here Sunday.
Abu Basha, who was very sick recently, was an interior minister from
1982-84.
He was one of the leading politicians with clear fingerprints in the fight
against terrorism and extremism.
Abu Basha, who occupied senior security posts, has one boy and two
daughters. (end)
