KUN0023 4 GEN 0130 KUWAIT /KUNA-TUM8 MIL-IRAQ-MNF Coalition forces turn over Camp Zulu to the Iraqi army BAGHDAD, Aug 25 (KUNA) -- The US army announced on Thursday coalition forces turned over Camp Zulu in As Suwayrah, southern Iraq, to the Iraqi Army. A statement by the multinational forces said this is the first coalition forces camp within the Multi-National Division Central's South area of responsibility to be turned over to Iraq's 8th Division. The division's 3rd Battalion, 3rd Brigade will be permanently housed there, it added. Coalition forces are currently training Iraqi security forces to support Iraq's ultimate goal of a unified, stable and democratic country.
