KUN0049 4 GEN 0160 KUWAIT /KUNA-LAE3 PWR-KUWAIT-PLANNING-STATISTIC Total electricity generated in Kuwait in 2003 reached 38.577 million kW/h KUWAIT, July 5 (KUNA) -- Ministry of Planning statistics said that the total electric energy generated in Kuwait throughout 2003 reached 38.577 million kilowatts/hour. The total electric energy consumed by the power plants reached 5.489 million kW/h, while the total electric energy consumed by the public reached 33.089 million kW/h. Regarding water production throughout 2003, the statistic said that the highest level of production was in July reaching 9.093.4 million gallon, followed by August with 8.870.2 million gallons, then September with 8.649.4 million gallons, while the lowest consumption was in February with 6.128.0 million gallons of water. The statistics added that the highest average daily consumption rate for water was in June with 290 million gallons, followed by July with 292.6 million gallons.
