Saudi ARAMCO launches new gas condensates distillation laboratory
RIYADH, Aug 27 (KUNA) -- The Dhahran-based Saudi ARAMCO has successfully
operated its new gas condensates distillation laboratory, increasing the lab's
productivity capacity from 325,000 barrels per day to 525,000 bpd of crude oil
and condensates, it was reported here today.
A statement by the company said that the facility, which was under
construction from April 2001, started operation on August 15, 2003.
ARAMCO, one of the world's largest oil and gas companies, adopts a
training and professional development program that is the most comprehensive
in the world in the field of petroleum engineering and downstream industries,
the editorial said.
The company's oil reserves amount to 261 billion barrels, while its natural
gas reserves are over 230 trillion cubic feet. (end)
