Khatami arrives in Bahrain
MANAMA, May 16 (KUNA) -- In a first official visit by an Iranian President
to Bahrain since 25 years, President Mohammed Khatami arrived here on a
two-day visit.
Khatami would discuss with Bahrain's King Hamad Ben Issa Al-Khalifa
bilateral relations in all fields, issues of mutual interest and the latest
developments on the regional and international arenas.
Khatami was received by King Hamad Ben Issa Al-Khalifa, Prime Minister
Sheikh Khalifa Ben Salman Al-Khalifa, Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister
Sheikh Mohammed Ben Mubarak Al-Khalifa in addition to a number of officials
and diplomatic corps staff.
Khatami's visit comes within a tour that took him to Syria, Lebanon and
Yemen.
