KUWAIT, Feb 24 (KUNA) -- The governors of Al-Asimah, Mubarak Al Kabeer, Al Ahmadi, Hawalli, Al-Farwaniya and Al-Jahra congratulated on Tuesday His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah as well as the Kuwaiti people on the country's 65th National Day and 35th Liberation Day.
Al-Asimah Governor Sheikh Abdullah Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah said that these precious national occasions reflect loyalty and belonging to the homeland and embody the spirit of cohesion and solidarity that characterizes the Kuwaiti people, leadership, government and people.
Governor of Mubarak Al-Kabeer and Acting Governor of Hawalli Sheikh Sabah Al-Sabah told KUNA that the national occasions are a source of joy and pride for the Kuwaiti people to celebrate Kuwait's long-standing history.
He added that the anniversary represents a moment to remember the sacrifices of the brave martyrs who gave their lives for the betterment of Kuwait, and to the generations that elevated its glory.
For his part, Al Ahmadi Governor Sheikh Humoud Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah said that these dear national occasions embody pride for the country and its blessed path, praying to Allah to protect Kuwait and its people, and maintain security, progress and stability to the country.
Speaking to KUNA, Sheikh Humoud noted that national days are a renewed station to boost the spirit of loyalty and belonging to the homeland and its leadership.
In a similar statement, Governor of Farwaniya Sheikh Athbi Al-Sabah echoed the message of the people of Al-Farwaniya, expressing his dedication to Kuwait, wishing its continued security and prosperity under the wise political leadership of the country.
In a statement issued by Jahra Governorate Hamad Jassim Al-Habashi said that national occasions represent bright milestones in Kuwait's history, through which the sacrifices of forefathers are remembered, as well as the security, stability, and progress the nation has achieved under its wise leadership.
He noted that the anniversary of Liberation Day will remain a symbol of the unity and solidarity of the Kuwaiti people in the face of challenges.
He affirmed that Al-Jahra Governorate continues to work with a spirit of responsibility and community partnership to serve the nation and advance the development process, drawing from this occasion the values of loyalty, belonging, and sincere dedication. (end)
