Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council with Charge d'Affaires of the Syrian Embassy in Saudi Arabia
RIYADH, Feb 23 (KUNA) -- Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Jassim Al-Budaiwi on Monday discussed efforts to support the Syrian Arab Republic across various fields with Charge d'Affaires of the Syrian Embassy in Saudi Arabia Mohsen Mahbash.
The GCC General Secretariat said in a statement that the meeting took place at the Secretariat's headquarters in Riyadh during Al-Budaiwi's reception of Mahbash.
During the meeting, Al-Budaiwi stressed the importance of respecting Syria's sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity.
He emphasized that Syria's security and stability are fundamental pillars for regional peace and expressed his wishes for continued security, stability, and further progress and development for Syria and its people. (end)
