KUWAIT, Feb 23 (KUNA) -- The Ministry of Education announced Monday opening registration for 32 free evening school clubs for boys and girls in public and private education during the holy month of Ramadan.
The Ministry said the clubs promote equal opportunities and enable students to benefit from quality programs. Approved venues are distributed across all educational districts, with transportation provided to support regular attendance.
Programs include sports courses, robotics and programming clubs, applied studies, debates, and dialogue skills development, catering to various educational stages.
The clubs will operate daily from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., starting March 1, providing a safe and motivating educational environment suited to Ramadan.
Registration is available online for public and special education students through the approved platform, while private education students may register in person at designated club locations.
The Ministry affirmed the initiative supports the educational process and fosters balanced character development, combining academic achievement with life skills, urging parents to encourage participation. (end)
