IICO supports 364 families through Ramadan, Eid clothing exhibition

KUWAIT, Feb 22 (KUNA) -- International Islamic Charity Organization (IICO) announced Sunday providing support to 364 underprivileged families through participation in the Ramadan and Eid Clothing Exhibition 2026 at Kuwait International Fairgrounds from February 20 to 22.
This included food baskets, Ramadan supplies and Eid clothing for each family, benefiting 1,820 individuals.
In a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the organization said the initiative reflects its commitment to supporting families in need during the holy month of Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr.
It added the effort promotes social solidarity, reinforces values of compassion and cooperation, and ensures aid is delivered in a manner that preserves beneficiaries' dignity.
The initiative also aims to raise community awareness and encourage broader participation in charitable programs to achieve sustainable humanitarian impact. (end) slm.aai
