SHARJAH, Feb 11 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Al-Fatat players Maryam Baron and Menwah Al-Shammari won the silver medal in the women's doubles table tennis competition at the 8th Arab Women Sports Clubs Games, currently being held in the Emirate of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
The Kuwaiti duo secured the medal after delivering an impressive performance throughout the tournament, facing strong competition from several participating Arab clubs.
This achievement marks a new addition to the Al-Fatat club's medal tally in the tournament, which features wide participation from Arab clubs across various sports.
The Games will conclude tomorrow, Thursday, after several days of competitions aimed at strengthening the presence of Arab women's sports and promoting the exchange of experience among participating teams. (end)
