Belgium condemns expansion of Israeli occupation in West Bank

BRUSSELS, Feb 10 (KUNA) -- Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Prevot expressed on Tuesday his country's condemnation of the recent decisions by the Israeli occupation regarding the expansion of control over the occupied Palestinian territories in the West Bank.
Prevot said in a post on (X) that these measures run counter to United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334, as well as the advisory opinion issued by the International Court of Justice.
The Belgian foreign minister stressed that lasting peace can only be achieved through respect for the law and for each other. (end) arn.aai
