Kuwait's Army to conduct live-fire drill on Failaka Island Tues. - statement

KUWAIT, Feb 9 (KUNA) -- The Kuwaiti Army announced on Monday that it will conduct a joint live-fire exercise on Failaka Island on Tuesday.
In a press statement, the Army stated that the maneuvers, scheduled from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time, are part of the "Rayat Watan" joint exercise.
The exercise will be concentrated in Naval Firing Range (A), located southeast of Failaka Island and extending approximately 11 nautical miles south of the Kuwaiti mainland. The Military urged all citizens, residents, and seafarers to strictly avoid the designated firing zone during the specified timeframe for their safety. (end) ajr.ibi
