Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS convene in Riyadh

RIYADH, Feb 9 (KUNA) - The meeting of political directors of the Global Coalition to Counter the so-called the Islamic State (ISIS) commenced on Monday in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, with participation from 90 countries.
The meeting, chaired by Saudi Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed Bin Abdulkarim Al-Khereiji and attended by Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs Asaad Al-Shaibani focuses on continuing efforts to combat ISIS in Syria and Iraq, as well as reconstruction initiatives in areas affected by the terrorist group.
The US is represented at the meeting by Tom Barrack, envoy of US President Donald Trump and US Ambassador to Turkiye. (End) kns.dss
