KUWAIT, Feb 7 (KUN A) -- The embassies of Kuwait in Belgium, Mongolia, Czech and Indonesia organized receptions to mark Kuwait's 65th anniversary of the National Day and the 35th anniversary of the Liberation Day, drawing several officials and diplomats.
In Brussels, Kuwaiti Ambassador to Belgium and Chief of the Kuwaiti Mission at the EU and NATO Nawaf Al-Enezi conveyed his highest congratulations and blessings to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and the government and people of Kuwaiti on the country's national celebrations.
Addressing a reception to mark the National Day and Liberation Day, the ambassador said the State of Kuwait is going ahead with its development journey under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir and His Highness the Prime Minister through huge investments in infrastructure, transport and digital services in the context of Kuwait's new development vision.
He underlined Kuwait's commitment to promoting its distinguished relations with other countries on the basis of friendship and mutual partnership in trade, investment and culture, adding that a Belgian and Luxembourgian trade delegation involving over 40 companies visited Kuwait last year.
He also touched on Kuwaiti investments in the energy sector in Belgium through Kuwait's Q8 company, which continues to achieve tangible successes, particularly in the blending plant in the city of Antwerp and the expansion of the activity of the Q8 Oils company.
The Kuwaiti ambassador stressed Kuwait's readiness to consolidate its presence in the Belgian market in the future.
In Mongolia, the Kuwaiti Embassy held a reception to celebrate the country's national festivals in the presence of Mongolian Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industries Enkhbayar Jadamba, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Damdinnyam Gongor and a number of businessmen, diplomats and media figures.
Kuwait Ambassador to Mongolia Mutlaq Al-Thuwaimer congratulated His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and the government and people of Kuwaiti on the country's national celebrations.
He pointed out firm relations between Kuwait and Mongolia, which have been developing across various fields, noting willingness to further promote and develop them.
For his part, the Mongolian Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industries congratulated the State of Kuwait on its national celebrations, affirming close bilateral relations between both friendly countries.
In Prague, the Kuwaiti Embassy's Charge d'Affaires Falah Al-Hajraf conveyed his highest congratulations and blessings to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and the government and people of Kuwaiti on the country's national celebrations.
The Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Prague held a reception on the occasion of the country's celebrations, which was attended by a number of Czech ministers, mainly Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Maj. Gen. Jarom?r Zuna, as well as deputy ministers and senior officials of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The ceremony was also attended by several accredited diplomats in the Czech Republic, as well as a number of businesspeople and members of the Arab community.
In Jakarta, Kuwaiti Ambassador in Indonesia Khaled Al-Yassin extended his sincere greetings to His Highness the Amir, His Highness the Crown Prince, His Highness the Prime Minister, the Kuwaiti government and people on the National Day and Liberation Day.
Addressing a ceremony held on this occasion, the ambassador underlined Kuwait's commitment to sustainable development and transition into an international financial and trade hub.
He also boasted of his country's leading humanitarian and relief role at the international level, along with the vital and praiseworthy role of Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) by offering loans and technical aid to developing countries.
For his part, Indonesian Minister of Manpower Yassierli voiced his country's commitment to strengthening long-term cooperation with the State of Kuwait, particularly in the energy, trade, investment and labor sectors.
He noted that both sides are seeking to explore new ways of cooperation between the two countries that serve their common interests. (end) arn.mt
