RIYADH, Feb 6 (KUNA) -- Saudi Arabia on Friday expressed vehement condemnation and denunciation of the "terrorist" mosque blast in Islamabad, which left scores of people dead or wounded.
In a press release, the Saudi Foreign Ministry restated the Kingdom's rejection of targeting places of worship, and intimidating and killing innocents, while reiterating its support for Pakistan against all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism.
The ministry also offered its sincere condolences to the families and relatives of the victims, and to the government and people of Pakistan, while wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
At least 24 people lost their lives while over 100 others sustained injuries after an explosion ripped through a place of worship in Pakistan's federal capital Islamabad earlier Friday. (end)
