Armenia keen on building sustainable economic partnerships with Kuwait

KUWAIT, Jan 26 (KUNA) -- Armenia's First Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry Gevorg Mantashyan on Monday affirmed Armenia's keenness to deepen economic cooperation with Kuwait and build sustainable partnerships.
Speaking during a visit by an Armenian economic delegation to the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), Mantashyan said both governments are working to create a supportive environment for business and joint investment, stressing Armenia's readiness to provide facilitation to turn opportunities into real projects.
Armenia's Ambassador to Kuwait Arsen Arakelyan highlighted longstanding ties between the two countries, noting the launch of direct flights between Kuwait and Yerevan last year and efforts to expand air connectivity to boost trade and tourism.
For his part, Assistant Director General of KCCI Firas Al-Oudah said the meeting reflects a commitment to expanding international partnerships, adding that despite limited trade volumes, significant potential exists mainly in innovation, technology and private enterprise.
The meeting was attended by representatives of Kuwaiti government bodies, while the Armenian delegation included 15 members from sectors such as investment, energy, tourism, IT, logistics and food industries.(end) ayb.nwf.hs
