Kuwaiti trap team grabs gold in Asian shooting finals

DOHA, Jan 20 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's trap team shot its way to a gold medal on Tuesday in the men's trap shooting finals of the Asian championship in Qatar, which runs until January 21.
The team's Abdurrahman Al-Faihan, Khaled Al-Mudhaf and Nasser Al-Miqlid topped the category, with Qatar coming second and the UAE third.
Al-Faihan also snatched bronze in the singles, as did the women's team of Shahad and Sarah Al-Hawal and Reem Al-Zamanan.
Some 196 shooters from 17 nations are vying for supremacy in the Doha-hosted Asian Shotgun Championships 2026, currently being held at the Lusail Shooting Complex. It kicked off last week. (end) sss.hb
