Kuwait welcomes Syria ceasefire, integration of SDF into state institutions

KUWAIT, Jan 19 (KUNA) -- The State of Kuwait welcomed on Monday the agreement on a ceasefire and the full integration of the Syrian Democratic Forces into the administration of the Syrian state, said Kuwait's Foreign Ministry.
In a statement, the Ministry said that the step will enhance security and stability in the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic, commending the efforts made by the friendly United States to reach the agreement.
The Ministry also renewed Kuwait's firm position in support of Syria's sovereignty, independence, unity and territorial integrity. (end) nma.aa
