RIYADH, Jan 18 (KUNA) -- The 'Big 5 Construct Saudi' exhibition kick-started on Sunday in Riyadh, with a Kuwaiti specialized pavilion containing some national construction factories as part of backing national industries.
Director General of the Public Authority of Industry (PAI) supervising the pavilion Mashari Menawer said Kuwait's partaking seeks to highlight the quality and diversification of the country's industries and open new horizons to factories to expand in external markets.
The exhibition, to continue until January 21, is one of the largest specialized events in construction field held in Saudi Arabia, he told KUNA in a statement.
As part of the 'Big 5' chains, the expo is held annually in some countries, and it creates proper opportunities to exhibitors to help them promote their products and explore new markets, he noted.
Al-Menawr underlined the keenness of PAI on backing Kuwait's industries and enabling factories to boost their competitiveness regionally, in a manner that contributes to proceeding with economic and industrial development in Kuwait.
The event is hosting more than 1,100 companies of 50 countries displaying 20,000 products and solutions in the areas of internal equipment and finishes. (end)
