MANAMA, Jan 18 (KUNA) -- Amid an atmosphere of authenticity and heritage, the Kuwaiti Handicrafts Association participated in the "Colors of the East International Art Exhibition," which concluded Sunday evening in Bahrain, presenting a curated collection of crafts that reflect Kuwaiti identity and its deeply rooted cultural memory.
The participation presented a vivid image of the creativity of Kuwaiti hands and the skills they possess crafts passed down through generations and preserved as an integral part of the national heritage.
The exhibits varied between maritime and desert crafts, as well as traditional works reflecting Kuwait's environment and social history, using natural materials and authentic handmade techniques that express the spirit of place and people.
The participation also highlighted the association's commitment to safeguarding handicraft heritage and introducing the public to its cultural and economic value, as well as its role in strengthening belonging and national identity. (end)
