RIYADH, Jan 18 (KUNA) -- Saudi Arabia ranked second worldwide and first among Arab countries in humanitarian and relief assistance for 2025, according to the United Nations Financial Tracking Service.
Advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah emphasized that the country's leadership in humanitarian efforts reflects its commitment to generosity and prioritizing human dignity.
He explained that these figures are documented in real time on the Saudi Aid Platform, the region's largest aid platform, noting that this institutional approach has helped deliver measurable global impact and advanced international rankings.
The figures showed Saudi Arabia ranked first among donors to Yemen, contributing 49.3 percent of total aid provided to the Yemeni people, and second among donors supporting Syria. (end)
