Kuwait PM receives Vatican's Secretary of State

KUWAIT, Jan 15 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah received, at Bayan Palace Thursday, Secretary of State of the Vatican Cardinal Pietro Parolin and a delegation accompanying him, a meeting attended by Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya.
The two sides discussed bilateral relations and cooperation, as well as issues of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by head of His Highness the Prime Minister's Diwan Abdulaziz Al-Dakhil and Assistant Foreign Minister for Europe Sadeq Maarafi. (end) bs
