Israeli occupation kills four people, wounds another in Lebanon

BEIRUT, Jan 6 (KUNA) -- At least four people have been slain and one more wounded by Israeli occupation airstrikes on some parts in southern Lebanon.
Israeli occupation aircraft have carried out some attacks on Kherbet Selem town in Bint Jbeil District, killing two people, Lebanese health ministry emergency center said in a statement on Tuesday.
Other Israeli airstrikes were launched on Kfar Dounine in Bint Jbeil, killing two more and wounding another person in Al-Ghaziyah, it added.
Israeli occupation forces have been violating the ceasefire deal signed on November 27 2025, through launching raids and repeated attacks on some southern parts in Lebanon, as they are still occupying some sites and border checkpoints inside Lebanon, in a clear and permanent breach of the UN Security Council Resolution 1701.
