Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs chairs the meeting
KUWAIT, JAN 5 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Supreme Committee for Organizing Sports Championships confirmed its full readiness to hist the French Super Cup on Thursday at Jaber International Stadium, featuring French league and cup champions Paris Saint-Germain against league runners-up Marseille.
The committee said preparations were reviewed during a meeting chaired by Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, who stressed the importance of coordination among all state bodies to ensure the event reflects Kuwait's positive global image.
Arrangements include crowd management, security, medical services, media coverage, and transportation, alongside a pre-match entertainment show organized by the Ministry of Information. The meeting also reviewed preparations for the upcoming Asian Handball Championship to be held in Kuwait later this month. (end)
