Amiri Diwan Min, Crown Prince's Diwan Head receive Senegal, Djibouti ambassadors

KUWAIT, Jan 5 (KUNA) -- Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah and Head of the Crown Prince Diwan Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah received on Monday at Bayan Palace the Ambassador of Senegal to Kuwait, Hassan Sogou.
During the meeting, they touched on the relations linking the two countries and peoples and discussed ways to further develop cooperation across various fields. The meeting also reaffirmed the shared desire to expand cooperation and strengthen the foundations of the longstanding friendship between the two sides.
The talks also touched on the upcoming official visit of President Bassirou Diomaye Faye of the Republic of Senegal to Kuwait later this month.
In a separate meeting, Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah and Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah received the Ambassador of Djibouti to Kuwait, Issa Khairy Robleh.
The meeting discussed the distinguished relations between the two countries and peoples, and discussed ways to enhance and develop existing frameworks of cooperation in various fields. (end) aa
