Kuwait's Sahabt Amal team operates 10-day humanitarian mission in Indonesia

Photo feature by Salman Al-Mutairi KUWAIT, Jan 5 (KUNA) -- The Kuwaiti volunteer team Sahabt Amal carried out a series of humanitarian programs in Indonesia to support the most deprived, as part of Kuwait's charitable sector efforts to encourage volunteering abroad.
The 10-day mission was organized by Kuwaiti doctors from the team, with volunteers from other Gulf countries, reflecting joint humanitarian cooperation to meet local health, living, and educational needs.
Activities included a medical camp, field visits to orphans and the elderly, distribution of food baskets, shopping trips for orphans, visits to schools, and helping repair some classrooms to improve the learning environment and support basic living standards for vulnerable individuals. (end) slm.lr
