Three killed, 5 injured in blast at mosque in Syria

AMMAN, Dec 26 (KUNA) -- Three people were killed and five were injured in an explosion at a mosque in Homs, in western Syria, on Friday, the official Syrian news agency, SANA, said.
SANA added that the blast took place in Al-Imam Ali Ibn Abi Talib Mosque in the Valley of Gold Area in Homs.
Initial reports said three people died and five others were wounded, SANA said, without revealing any further details. (end) abk.aq
