WASHINGTON, Dec 23 (KUNA) -- Secretary of State Marco Rubio discussed on Tuesday, via phone, with French Foreign Minister Jean-Noأ«l Barrot the urgent need for a humanitarian ceasefire in Sudan.
The Secretary and Foreign Minister agreed to continue implementing President Trump's peace plan for Gaza, said the State Department Principal Deputy Spokesperson Tommy Pigott in a press statement after the phone call.
They also agreed to continue cooperation on diplomatic efforts to end the Russia-Ukraine war. (end)
