RIYADH, Dec 18 (KUNA) -- Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Al-Budaiwi said Thursday that Qatar has witnessed a comprehensive developmental renaissance covering all fields, empowering it to achieve distinctive civilizational accomplishments.
In a press statement marking the National Day of Qatar, Al-Budaiwi congratulated Amir of the State of Qatar Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, as well as to the government and the people of Qatar, on the occasion of the National Day of the State of Qatar.
He added that the Gulf people hold the sincerest feelings of love, affection, and appreciation for the State of Qatar and its people, affirming the bonds of kinship, shared history, and common destiny.
The GCC chief wished the State of Qatar every success in achieving further accomplishments under the wise Qatari leadership. (end)
