NEW YORK, Dec 15 (KUNA) -- The UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres strongly condemned late Sunday the terrorist attack, which occurred in the city of Sydney Australia, resulting in several casualties.
In a statement, Deputy Secretary General Spokesman, Farhan Haq, said, "The Secretary-General strongly condemns the heinous terrorist attack... He expresses his deepest condolences to the families of the victims and extends his wishes for a swift and full recovery to those injured." He added, "The Secretary-General stands in solidarity with the people and Government of Australia during this difficult time." The attack, which occurred in Bondi Beach, Sydney, led to the death of 12 people and the injury of 29 others.
