GAZA, Dec 9 (KUNA) -- The Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday detained 40 Palestinians during wide-ranging raids across the West Bank where two individuals were also injured following confrontations in several locations.
The Palestinian News and Information Agency (WAFA) reported that the raids began at dawn and included mass arrests in multiple governorates, accompanied by incursions, house searches, and assaults carried out by occupation forces.
It added that a child and another Palestinian were wounded by live ammunition during an Israeli occupation raid on Al-Amari Camp south of Ramallah, where forces deployed heavily, searched numerous homes, and set up restrictive military checkpoints.
It further noted that settlers set fire to a house and two vehicles in Al-Marah village in Bethlehem Governorate, as occupation forces intensified incursions, arrests, home demolitions, and displacement operations across the West Bank in recent weeks. (end)
