KUWAIT, Nov 27 (KUNA) -- Dr. Yusuf Al-Suraye, Director General of the General Directorate of Radio at the Ministry of Information, on Thursday said the Kuwait Radio Station has continuously updated programs presented on the Kuwait Airways screens.
In a statement to KUNA, Dr. Al-Suraye said the continuous cooperation between the radio station and the KAC aimed at promoting the Kuwaiti cultural and media heritage, entertaining passengers with top programs broadcast since the 60s.
These programs were the making of top actors from Kuwait and other Gulf countries, pioneers of the vocal audio drama.
Among the programs available on the KAC screens are "shadi al-khaleej," "gahwat bu rashed," "nojoom al-qemaa," "mol al-hawaye," "githarat adabiya," "nafeza ala al-tareekh," "baqaya alleil," "akhbar juhaina," and "anbar akhu belal."
These programs, he added, are intended to enable passengers get acquainted with Kuwait's artistic identity and preserve the audio-visual heritage. (end)
